A working flow in four steps
No developer needed. Administrators and shop managers always see prices, so add ?wcsp_preview=1 to any product URL to check the visitor view while logged in.
Choose Who Can't See Prices
Open Price Visibility and pick whether prices are hidden from everyone, from specific roles, or from specific users.
Set Up the Button
Under Contact & WhatsApp, set the label, colours and style shown in place of the hidden price.
Decide What It Does
Under Enquiry Form, choose whether it opens the enquiry popup or links to a URL, and set the address that receives notifications.
Send a Test
Use the test buttons on the SMTP/Email and WhatsApp settings to confirm notifications actually arrive before you go live.

Global Whitelist Match
The visitor's role or user account is on the whitelist, so they're allowed to see prices.
Global Hide Rule Match
The visitor matches a hide rule you've configured, so the price is hidden.
No Match — Shown
Nothing else applies, so the price is shown by default. Shop loops and single product pages each have their own settings.

What is Zchand Smart Pricing Control?+
It's a WooCommerce plugin that hides prices from chosen visitors and replaces them with a customisable Contact for Pricing button. Clicks open a built-in enquiry form or your own URL, and every submission is stored in a dedicated inbox in your dashboard.
Is the plugin free?+
Yes. Zchand Smart Pricing Control is completely free, including price visibility rules, the contact button, the enquiry inbox, WhatsApp integration and the built-in SMTP mailer.
Prices still show for me — is that a bug?+
No — administrators and shop managers always see prices by design, so the storefront looks unchanged while you're logged in. Add ?wcsp_preview=1 to a product URL, or open the page in a private window, to see the visitor view.
The button doesn't appear on shop or category pages+
Shop and category loop pages have their own switch, separate from single product pages. Enable it under Display, and check that the loop button style isn't being hidden by your theme's CSS.
Enquiry emails never arrive — what do I check?+
Send a test email from the SMTP/Email tab first — if it fails, the exact server error is shown on screen. If it succeeds but nothing reaches your inbox, check spam and confirm your From address uses a domain you actually control.
I'm seeing two Add to Cart buttons on shop pages+
Some block and full-site-editing themes render their own cart button. The plugin only re-adds the classic button when it successfully removed one, so a duplicate is coming from the theme, not the plugin.
Which WhatsApp notification provider should I use?+
CallMeBot is free and quick — just message the CallMeBot number from your phone to get an API key, no Meta account needed. WhatsApp Cloud API is the official Meta service, requiring a WhatsApp Business account, an access token and an approved message template. Both have a test button that reports the exact error if something's misconfigured.
What happens to enquiries if I delete the plugin?+
Deleting a single enquiry removes it permanently. Deleting the plugin drops the entire enquiries table, so export anything you need beforehand.
